Hello 👋🏾 I’m Lucas Marques, a Staff Software Engineer based in São Paulo with 15+ years of experience. Christian, husband to Lari, and father to Levi 👶🏽.

I build distributed systems and have shipped production code across fintech, healthtech, and AI workflows. Lately I work on real-time pipelines, agent tooling, and backend platforms — currently at Telepatia AI. I’m comfortable across Elixir, Rust, TypeScript/NestJS, Python, and Temporal-based orchestration.

A few things I’ve been hacking on:

• kaizen — real-time, self-hostable agent observability for Cursor, Claude Code, and Codex.
• quint-connect — model-based testing framework for Quint + Elixir.
• style — my own coding style and engineering principles.
